Members of AFT Local 6766, TMCC-NFA joined UAW workers on the picket line at a GM distribution center in Nevada. The effort was organized through our affiliation with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), a member of the AFL-CIO's network of labor organizations.
Many of the issues confronting NSHE professionals, such as adequate cost of living adjustments and fair salary structures, are similar to those which caused UAW workers to walk off the job over two weeks ago.
